Wednesday, July 14th 1993: Seeley Lake, MT to Bigfork, MT or ... Talking about privacy on a trip with CA.

Talking about privacy! "In the restrooms we had to sit next with 2 next to each other with only a wall in between us but no doors! And when the entrance door of the restroom opened, just anyone in the hallway could see us!", my woman complains. "Now you know how we feel when we do our business!", I reply!

Breakfast this morning in the senior citizen center: eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit and ... thee!

The first part of the day is rolling up and down:

The other tandem passes us while we take a break at the water stop.

Summit lake- yes - as the name says! From here on the terrain becomes easier to handle.

Just past the town of Condon we take a coffee break. Ann and Steve were already sipping theirs!

It's nice to cycle along the mountain range - horses looking at us (or is it the other way?)

At the aid station the seeds of the watermelon are used during the spitting contest:

On the way to Swan Lake we noticed a deer with her fawn. Here my boss goes to the lake for a while.

But the weather really doesn't want to cooperate: black clouds hang already in the sky:

The last 5 miles into Bigfork my woman cycles while it's raining. In the schools everyone searches for his own private spot - hoping noone comes too close. The trick is to find that place either very early (and don't tell anyone) or to be late and then crawl into some place away from everyone. Another way to find your sleeping spot: don't care about anything and just drop it in the cafetaria!
